Your life has been a real mess. And your sins you would not confess. God wanted to give you a life filled with good. If only He could. Without Him is your life fulfilled? On a cross for you His blood was spilled. He fulfilled all the scriptures about Him that were written. That is why He was smitten. He saw how low in sin we were. He would have to die; this He knew for sure. Why did He go through so much pain? So we could have our relationship with God back again. Your godly parents can't help you on judgment day. For your own sins you will have to pay. Christ has taken care of that for you; die, this He must do. You must repent; that is what He now requires of you. If you want to join Him where He dwells, Then come, drink from His fountains and His deep wells. There has been no greater love ever shown. Christ came and to us made salvation known. His love for you that day was so great. He fulfilled His mission to save you from your awful fate. He asks you to come just as you are. The door to salvation He always leaves ajar. The sacrifice for our sins is now complete. Each year He need not repeat. He died on the cross the scriptures say, For you to have life it was the only way. |

Lord, why have You turned Your back on me? The things I am going through; don't You see? I know You love me, because You suffered and died. The things I've been through, are You still not satisfied? You said we wouldn't have to face these battles all alone. Is there something in my life You want to hone? When will there be a little relief? Is peace gone forever, and nothing left but pain and grief? Why don't You answer me when Your name I call upon? Have You forgotten me; will You answer before very long? Are You no longer the same? If I have done wrong, show me, and I will take the blame. From me You must have taken Your flight. In my heart I believe I am doing what is right. You have just vanished from sight. Must my days also be turned into night? Lord, it seems I am just worn out. Is this what serving You is all about? If it would help, out loud would I shout. Would You just put me on a different route? Even in the worst of times after You I did seek. Won't You look down; won't You at least take a peek? Don't You see how badly I hurt? Then me also You desert. Do you know someone whose world has been turned upside down? And they feel they have been trampled right into the ground? Go and encourage them, and for them pray. And I truly believe your own troubles will start to vanish away. |
