He came out of the grave; He rose today.
We now can rejoice, sing and pray.
Until that day when He calls us away.
This could be the day. Because He has risen.
But until that glorious day, We must work, fast and pray.
When Jesus comes for us, He will feel proud.
He will tell the trumpeter to make it loud, Beca use He has risen.
What we have longed for will become a reality.
When we put on immortality.
There will be no more death and pain.
We will live again.
Because He has risen.
The grave cannot hold us there.
No more burdens to bear.
That day will end all our sorrows.
And begin so many wonderful tomorrows.
Because He has risen.
He will be coming after you and me, And with Him we will forever be.
Then this old body will be new.
There will be no limit to what we can do.

A resurrected body Jesus has, we will have the same.
Soon we will be with Him,
A brand new life we will begin.

We were once held in prison, Now set free because Christ has risen.
"Death could not hold Him", God's Word did say.
He's alive! Yes, He rose today.

The way to eternal life Jesus came to show, Now He wants the whole world to know; In sin man did live,
So Your life You had to give.
What was right I did not do,
You still loved me and died for me, too.
You saw the terrible state I was in, Because of my life of sin.
No one else for my sins could I blame, Our sins caused Y 00 to suffer shame.
Because of sin You came and died; It was a cruel death ... crucified.
You knew death You must face,
It was the only way to redeem the human race.
A little time on earth You spent, And preached, you must repent.
Repent and believe the gospel Jesus said; Heaven and hell, the choice is yours, both are just ahead.
I'm glad I finally heeded Your call; We must repent one and all.
If in heaven one day you want to be, You must repent and from sin be set free.
To hell you do not have to go, Jesus came and told us so.
Is Christ's death going to be in vain?
It will if you are not born again.
But if you repent, Christ will gladly forgive; A new life in Him you will begin to live.
