Thank You, Lord, for doing for us what You did.
And not keeping God's word from us hid, But revealing to us what God has to say:
You must die; the price You had to pay.
Your word is not for just a special few.
In it you can find something refreshing and new.
It tells about salvation, grace, and healing, And each day becomes more revealing.
There has nothing been like it before.
That is why at the proper time You let us know.
For such a long time You had this in mind. Now it was time to reveal it to all mankind.
Your word has yet to be destroyed by man.
He has tried; he still thinks he can. God's word will always be around, In it your destiny can be found.
So many things in His word we can learn.
But with many it is not a concern.
God has all these good things for me and you.
Go tell your friends, neighbors, what God will do.
On God's word we can truly stand.
We will have a new earth by God's mighty hand.
God's word is forever true.
Find in it what God has for you.
God's word will never pass away.
It is here to stay.
We can always depend on His word.
Now we must proclaim it until all have heard.

I am now getting older and gray.
Not much longer on earth do I plan to stay.
I believe His coming could be most any day; Then Christ will catch us away.
Each day we go our way,
Not always knowing what God's plan is for us today; But if we listen He will tell,
Then we know all will be well.
Of His coming I would not dare to guess, But He needs to soon to straighten out this mess.
When He has planned to come, I do not know; Occupy until you hear the trumpet blow.
His coming I have waited so long to see, A part of it I know I will be;
Oh, what a home going day.
Welcome home, I am waiting to hear Him say.
Could there be a little while yet to wait?
Can we win one more before it is too late?
We must tell everyone the good news; Every moment left we must wisely use.
His coming will be a time to rejoice, What joy when we hear His voice.
Come up here we will hear Him say, This is the day.
Whenever the coming of the Lord is, We will have a new body like His.
What a glorious change that will be, And Jesus we will finally see.
