Lord I Give You Praise PDF Print E-mail

Lord, we just come before You with praise, As we travel down this life of uncertain maze.
And for aU the things for us that You do, I bow my knees and worship You.
Let praise in my heart always be there, Because of Your love for me and Your care.
Before You, Lord, my voice I will raise.
The devil hates for me to give You praise.
With our praise we drive the devil crazy.
So to him everything will be hazy.
Because of words in rhyme You have given me, In them, I just want to praise and glorify Thee.
I want to praise You in everything I do.
I know what I am is because of You.
In abundance of life, You now give me to live.
AU because Your life for me You did give.
No other sacrifice would do for me. You look down and You could see. That from the devil I could not flee.
You said, Father, a sacrifice for Him I will be.
How can I ever praise You for aU You did?
My sins from You were never hid.
So I want to say thank You once again.
For aU You went through and what You did.
Lord, I give You praise,
For getting me through life's tangled maze.
And from foUowing my own ways, Now and forever Lord, I give You praise.

That Old Tree PDF Print E-mail

Jesus died that day for me; So from sin, I can be free.
If we are faithful, one day we will see The One that died on that old tree.
God's heart must have ached that day, To see His Son suffer that way.
No other way could it be done for me; He must die on that old tree.
That day of His death has come and gone.
It wasn't even Him that did the wrong.
It was my sins. It was me
That caused Him to die on that old tree.
God saw sin would forever keep us apart; And it broke His heart.
Something had to be done for me.
So He died on that old tree.
Oh the terrible price He paid!
This was the decision they had made.
This is the way it had to be.
He must die on that old tree.
So much suffering He went through!
Oh how He loved me and you!
A new life He has given me, Because He died on that old tree.
If that old tree could have had a say,
"I don't want to be the one on whom this man dies today!"
And would Jesus kindly reply, "On you, today, I must die."
