When Lord, are You going to listen to my cry?
Will it not be until I am caught away or until I die?
Lord, long ago into Your hands I placed my fate.
When I pray, why must I have to wait, and wait, and wait?
I have heard of others that say the same.
They also know and love You and call upon Your name.
Why must I have to wait so long?
If I continue in prayer, will You be there at dawn?
Won't You come now in answer to my prayer?
I know You personally and I know You care.
So Lord, those that call upon Your name,
Come with Your healing touch, You are always the same.
Lord, I come before You and say,
You hear me when I come to You and pray.
And I know You listen to me every day.
While I wait, You give me peace along the way.
Let me say, never give up or quit.
Who knows? Jesus might visit you in just a little bit.
What is there anyway to go back to?
Your breakthrough might be soon, and Jesus waiting for you.
So stay steadfast, His timing is always best.
I believe during your time of waiting He will give you rest.
He always has the right answer for you, And what He gives you is always the best, too.
There was a long period of time that I went through, And there seemed to be nothing about it I could do.
But still I continued to pray.
One day my breakthrough came and oh, what a special day!

The curse must be broken at any cost, Something must be done; the human race was lost.
To free man, Christ would have to die.
Oh, if there was some other way, He would try.
The curse was strong this He saw,
Man must be delivered from the curse of the law.
God saw that no other way would do,
His Son would have to die, this He did for you.
On Calvary's hill His hands were nailed to the tree.
So that from sin and the curse I could be free.
Cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree, This is the only way; this is the way it had to be.
Cursed is everyone that continues not in all the law, Moses said.
Christ came to fulfill the law, but no longer is He dead.
Now we know the curse could be broken, Christ fulfilled the word about Him that was spoken.
God's heart was grieved about what His Son would go through, He loved us so much; it was something He was willing to do.
Can you imagine such love as His?
So to break the curse, this is the way it is.
A good plan the Lord had sought, From the curse, for us Christ has brought.
Now rejoice because you are set free.
It was a great price, but it was the way it had to be.
So He came to this earth to die, Sin was the reason why.
Into the future He could see, This is the way it had to be.
