The new millennium is now here, Do you wish it could be without a care?
Your love and fears with Jesus you can share, Who knows maybe His coming will be this year.
This year, don't we wish we knew what lay ahead?
Jesus knows, He is alive, He is not dead.
The people of the nations to Christ must be led, His word to all people must be read.
In Jesus the blows of satan we are able to fend, Those preaching the gospel we must send.
In Jesus we must trust, on Him we can depend.
This year, His flock we must tend.
What do we have in mind for this New Year? Will we help the poor, pray and shed a tear?
In Jesus there is nothing to fear,
He is waiting to help, He really does care.
In the New Year we are going to share, Get the gospel to those far and near.
There are so many living in bondage, who live in fear. We must tell them about Jesus, the one that is so dear.
Maybe this year will be a new beginning for you.
Jesus will do for you what no one else can do.
Look in His word, His word is true.
Without His death there was no hope for you.
Jesus is waiting at the door of your heart.
Won't you let Him in, He will never depart.
Let this year be for you a new start, Come to Jesus and you will never have to part.

Your mercy, is why I didn't perished long ago.
I was a sinner, but that You know.
But You came and died for man, Why, I'm just not sure I understand.
Because of Your mercy I am still here to praise Thee, And perhaps the rapture I also will see.
You came to give life to man, Why, I'm just not sure I understand.
Man has rejected, rebelled; yet mercy You still show.
From Heaven to the cross You did go.
From the beginning mercy You have shown to man.
Why, I'm just not sure I understand.
Your mercy You show to all generations, Because You love the people of all nations.
From the beginning You never gave up on man.

Man has done everything contrary to Your will, Yet You love him, You love him still.
All the hate he has toward You, You still love man, Why, I'm just not sure I understand.
All that will; You are waiting for them to come, You want everyone to have life, everyone!
You did everything needed to save man, Why, I'm just not sure I understand.
Satan was given dominion over the earth, Man was in sin and needed a new birth.
So You came and gave Your life for man, You made such a change in me, now I understand.
