Is there someone you love that had a stroke?
On our necks satan tries to place his yoke.
Even in your worst of times make God a must.
In Him always keep your trust.
Through all your grief and pain, In Him our faith we must retain.
All of our tomorrow's Jesus knows.
And each day His love He shows.
When you are so tired and weary,
It has been so long since your heart was merry, Jesus will give you new strength to face each day.
And grace when things are so dark and gray.
All of our sorrows Christ brought us through.
And I know He will do the same for you.
It did not cross my mind that He did not care. So I know your burdens He will help you bear.
One day something else satan will try.
But on Christ we will still rely.
One day his reign on earth will end.
And there by my side will be Jesus my friend.
Can you just look to Jesus in good times and bad?
And when things go wrong at Him you are mad.
He sees your pain and what you are going through. And in your darkest hour, He will say "I love you."

Those silver threads in your hair, have they now turned white?
Just remember for a long time you have been God's light.
And that light must continue to shine, "God Said" I have chosen you; you are mine.
You're older and think there's nothing more you can do.
God needs me; He needs you.
The hurting need to hear a kind word from you today.
Others having a difficult day; for them you could pray.
The devil would like for you to believe you are through, And there is nothing more for God you can do. Weare not too old for God to use, one and all.
He will speak; on your life He has placed a call.
Just be available; God will send someone by.
Maybe all that person needs is a smile, a hug or a "hi".
Someone discouraged God might send your way.
Or God might send you to visit them today.
Now that you are older your wisdom is so in need.
Giving good advice for the day can be your good deed.
God will give you wisdom in what to do or say.
Y our words can help those struggling along the way.
Don't worry if today He doesn't send someone by, There is someone God has heard their desperate cry.
Just trust in God and pray,
Maybe a wayward soul you can help along the way.
God never thinks you are too old to be used.
He needs you to help the lonely and the abused.
You are God's child, He really loves you.
You are not too old; there is so much yet you can do.
