Jesus died, He took my place,
It was not just for me, but the whole human race.
God said, "Son, it is now time for You to go."
But what if He had said no?
So to the earth Jesus came,
A new thing He did, it has not been the same.
By His coming we can defeat our foe ...
But what if He had said no?
Our sins forced Him to come,
Man was doomed, He must die, that is the sum.
All because He loved us so ... But what if He had said no?
God knew no one else would do.
That's why He gave His life for me, for you.
So to the cross He had to go, But what if He had said no?
I see the world going to hell, I must leave.
To see His Son go, surely He did grieve.
So He came to the earth below.
But what if He had said no?
God gave us the very best He had.
He died for the good; He died for the bad.
No greater love on me could He bestow, But what if He had said no?
I'm so glad Jesus came.
He changed my life. I have not been the same.
All because He loved me so, And I'm so glad He did not say no!

I am the Lord God Almighty, I am not petty or flighty.
I do not take matters lightly,
I look after my creation daily and nightly.
There was a purpose behind each thing I did,
It was for man, nothing good from him did I keep hid.
I had a plan; what I wanted him to do, Before the creation I had already thought of you.
I created man to live in peace,
I gave him life that would never cease.
But man chose death, by the decision he made, Now a price for sin had to be paid.
Into the world Christ came to bring light, It is now up to man to choose wrong or right.
There is no longer an excuse for sin, All must come to Him to enter in.
He gives life to all that will come, Eternal life He offers to everyone.
Your life He wants to change,
Life for death, don't you want to exchange?
His love is far greater than you know.
In sin why do you continue to go?
He reaches down to where you are, For me that was very far.
The decision is still yours to make.
Sin will catch up with you make no mistake.
In the new earth only righteousness will reign, Christ will be here, never will there be sin again.
