Is there just a few minutes you could give and pray?
God loves to hear from you each and every day.
It is easy to pray as you go on your way, But take a little of your own time and pray.
Is praying such a chore for you to do?
Jesus took time out of His busy life for you.
Can't you spare a few minutes of time in prayer to Him?
In prayer, it keeps our light from growing dim.
We think there is so little time in a day, but so much to do.
Just ask Him to help; He will make a little time for you.
Then you can go into your closet and pray.
I believe you will have a better day.
Do you have time on the weekends to play?
Why not take just a few minutes of that time to pray?
He will listen to what you have to say,
Because you took a few minutes of your own time to pray.
I, myself, know the hustle and bustle of living.
We must also take a little time for giving.
The Lord sees all those things you have to do.
But He wants a little of your time, too.
Lord, forgive me for not taking more time for You.
You did so much for me, things I could never do.
I must take the time to pray, this I know And find the time; to me You will show.
He took time out of His life to die for you, He did for you what no one else could do.
So take a few minutes for Him and say,
I am going to take a few minutes now, and pray.

No longer do we walk alone, His love to us He has shown.
One day with Jesus we will sit, All because we did not quit.
Because we have been faithful, one day Jesus we shall see.
And by His grace, with Him we shall forever be.
With my praise I will give satan a fit.
With God's help, I will never quit.
What do we have to look forward to?
Without Jesus what good did we ever do?
Keep your eyes on the goal until you reach it, And you will because you did not quit.
Maybe there will be hard times ahead, But don't forget, Jesus is not dead.
Do not let sin reign in your life, not even a little bit.
Don't ever give in, don't ever quit.
Jesus said I will be there for you.
I will never leave you, I will see you through.
Jesus, to You my life I fully commit.
Now it is no problem for me to say, I will not quit.
Do you know Jesus? He will set you free.
He will gladly do it for you, as He did for me.
Try Him if only for a little bit.
Then I know you will say I will never quit.
Jesus will always be by your side.
That river you have to cross might be deep and wide, But His love and mercy there is plenty of it.
Then you can easily say, "I did not quit."
Now God is awaiting me, Because of His Son Who died on that tree.
Now in His kingdom I do so wondrously fit.
All because I did not quit.
