My life has sure had its share of pain.
And on my life sin has left its stain.
Lord I thought a life in You would be a breeze.
And for once my life could be at ease.
When out in sin life was like a mighty storm.
Wearing away at me until I was battered and torn.
It has been a struggle just to survive. But I now know why I am still alive.
Sin was keeping me on a well trodden path.
I was beginning to feel the results of its wrath. And by my own doing it almost destroyed me.
You came just in time or that is the way it would be.
With so much hurting it would have to show. I got through this by a source I did not know.
I longed for something better but did not know what.
About God I had not heard a lot.
Lord long ago I wish You I would have known.
Then so many seeds of sin I would not have sown.
The way I was going I know was the wrong way.
Now I am enjoying Your way better every day.
Is there anyone Lord I can talk to about You?
I am new at this and don't always know what to do.
But more about You I want to learn, And the things of God I want to discern.
Just look to Me in the good times and bad.
I will give you a life like you have never had.
I will always have someone along the way you will meet.
And the things that would destroy you, you will defeat.

Where Christ once dwelt is there now sin,
Where once was joy and peace, is it now emptiness within?
Christ and sin, both you cannot choose, Because if you try, Christ you will lose.
Sin shall not have dominion over you I have read, You must repent, that is what Christ said.
Even if you are living your life in sin Christ loves you still, But if His love you reject, death will be a bitter pill.
If in sin you choose to be,
Then only in judgment Jesus you will see, So do you really wish to wait so long, Until every opportunity has come and gone?
The price for my sins, I was unable to pay, So in sin I must remain, there I must stay.
Then I heard that Jesus came and died for my sins, Now not for me only, but everyone wins.
No longer in sin will I walk,
And things about sin I no longer talk.
My life is now in Christ, that is what I chose to do, Lord, it is You I serve, Lord I chose You.
I tried sin and it did not pay, In sin satan wanted me to stay,
And in sin he wanted me to live everyday, But Jesus came and showed me a better way.
Haven't you had enough of sin?
Don't you want a new life to begin? Christ is just waiting for you to say, Lord, forgive me, my life I give to You today.
But if in sin you wish to remain,
And your old lifestyle you want to maintain, Then with Christ you can never be,
Not coming back and being set free.
