Jesus looked far into the future and He could see, He would have to come and die on that tree. He did it willing for you and me, Without His death, with Him we could never be. Once a sacrifice was a ram. But for us it is Christ the Lamb. Oh Lord, Your name is to be praised. And what You do for us, I am so amazed. So take courage my friend, The way things are now will come to an end. We will forever with Jesus live, Because His life for us He did so freely give. We don't know what tomorrow holds, But His revelation to us He gradually unfolds. Sometimes He even lets us know what lies ahead, Search His word to find out about what He said. There is no time to look back at the past, Only those things found in His Word will last. In righteousness, everything we must do, And during our temptations He will bring us through. Can we comprehend all that pain? Never will He have to do that again. He did it for you and me, That's why all that suffering He went through. There is so much yet to look forward to, And Jesus will always be there for you. Just keep looking up, one day you will see, Jesus coming in the air, coming after you and me. |

Christ looked down through the ages and He could see, Without His death in sin I would forever be. He could see the human race was going to hell, It saddened Him to see how low man fell. It grieved Him to see us in such a hopeless state. Christ came to die; He saw our fate. If Adam had listened to what God had said, No need to suffer, no need for His blood to be shed. He already knew He would die, because of what Adam did. This He must do, our sins He must rid. How often have you wished your pain would go away? If Adam had been faithful, your life would not be in pain today. Christ saw sin would enter the human race. God gave Adam power to stand up for his rightful place. But he failed, he gave in; Now we must die, because of his sin. Eve listened to the serpent and believed his lie. Then and there her relationship with God began to die. We now have the light; in it we must walk. It is God we must listen to when He begins to talk. When Satan comes and causes you grief, The things he speaks will never bring relief. Satan's future has an end, it has been sealed. The truth about his fate has now been revealed. But for us there has come a brighter day, Christ came to show us His way was the better way. If to sin you are a slave, Jesus will set you free, His life for you He unselfishly gave. |
