I Made It PDF Print E-mail

I did not know what lay ahead for me today,
But God guided me each step of the way.
I made up my mind to fight, and not just sit…
I made it.

If I need help to make it, though heavy may be the cross,
I will have the help I need; I will never be at a loss.
Being a loser I am not, I did not quit…
I made it.

When my temptations come, and I am tried,
God was there, His face from me He did not hide.
In this day of need, my life to You I submit…
I made it.

If the river I crossed seems so wide
Jesus says I will be there by your side.
He gave me the strength and the grit…
I made it.

The battle was on every side, the way seemed barred,
I have a reputation to uphold, it must not be marred.
The battle I won, I escaped the snares and the pit…
I made it.

The storm is raging without and within,
Will I make it, is my endurance wearing thin?
I haven’t come this far just to quit?
I made it.

You also might have to face the stormy sea,
Christ says, “Be not afraid, with you I will be”.
You can overcome, this power from God you get…
You made it.

If I live until the rapture takes place,
Each day I was kept by His grace.
So when by His resurrection power I am hit,
Then I can truly say I made it.

Independence Day PDF Print E-mail

For our independence a great army they fought, And by God's hand a miracle was wrought.
Fight was the only way they could see,
To get independence; this is the way it had to be.
So they fought and won.
Whether by sword, bayonet or gun.
They fought for our liberty.
They fought so America could be free.
On July 4, 1776, was our first Independence Day.
A price for freedom they were willing to pay.
It was hard fighting back in those days, America must be free to follow God's ways.
With a ragtag army God beat our foe, Maybe the purpose-the people did not know.
The Gospel God wanted America to preach, Now, those that have not heard we must reach.
We weren't there on our first Independence Day, We still fight to keep it that way.
Now America has departed from Your way.
Lord, come forgive America of her sins, don't delay.
America must return to what You called her to do.
Lest we lose favor with You.
If America forgets You and goes her own way, How much longer will we celebrate Independence Day?
People that came thought America was a land of bliss, But you see God had a hand in all this.
Today we celebrate Independence Day,
And I pray this is the way it will always stay.

King of Glory PDF Print E-mail

Come; see where the King of Glory was born today.
In a stable where animals stay.
He wasn't born in a palace of gold,
But in a little town where the prophets told.
A different baby He must have been.
From His birth was without sin.
The King of kings wasn't born in a palace of gold, But in a stable damp and cold.
An ordinary baby, He was not,
He was born for a purpose, He sure gave a lot.
The greatest King wasn't born in a palace of gold, But in a stable damp and cold.
The shepherds came to see what this was all about, At His birth the angels rejoiced with a shout. The baby in her arms she would gently hold, He was a King, yet born a stable damp and cold.
Why would God Son be born in such a place?
For a king this would be a disgrace.
It would be fitting to be born in a palace of gold, But the King was born in a stable damp and cold.
There was no room for them in the inn.
No invitation to any home, there were no kin.
This baby should have been born in a palace of gold, He was Almighty, yet born in a stable damp and cold.
Before He came to earth, He had ivory for His throne, With streets of pure gold and wall of precious stone.
And owned all the hills, valleys, silver and gold.
Yet born in a stable damp and cold.

There has never been a man like this before. He gives salvation, grace and so much more.
When the burdens in your life never seem to cease Take them to Jesus ... the Prince of Peace.
He created the earth on which we live, His life for us He was willing to give.
When the burdens in your life just won't cease, Look to Jesus ... the Prince of Peace.
Are the things in your life getting hard to bear?
Bring them to Jesus I know that He does care.
They just never cease?
Bring them to Jesus ... the Prince of Peace.
If your friend you never tell your hurts to, Tell them to Jesus, He will listen to you.
Maybe your friend also has hurts that never cease, Tell them about Jesus ... the Prince of Peace.
In Christ we know we live forever, Will my life in Him ever end .... ? No never.
His wonders amaze me they just never cease, Because He is ... the Prince of Peace.
He is Lord of my life; let me tell you about Him.
In Him a new life for you too can begin.
Now on life, you have a new lease, Because Jesus is ... the Prince of Peace.
In Christ you will never walk alone,
In His timing, He will always make himself known.
And when life is over and time for it to cease, Jesus will be there ... The Prince of Peace

Do It God's Way PDF Print E-mail

Surely we are living in the last days, People not caring just going their own ways.
Not realizing one day before God they must stand, Those that rejected His outstretched hand.
We have a form of Godliness but deny His power, What excuse will we use in that hour?
We will give an account of all that we do, If good or bad, that means me and you?
Are we so wise yet not know the truth?
God wants to direct our way from our youth.
Are we so wise we no longer take God by faith?
We no longer need His saving grace?
Can our knowledge free us from sin?
Can our wisdom get us to Heaven, can it get us in?
Man thinks God loves me, He won't send me to hell, Do not rely on your good works that all is well.
Have we given thought to what God will say?
Will He say, depart from Me on judgment day?
We have God's word; yet we don't know what's true.
His word tells us the way? It tells us what to do.
Has our knowledge turned us from truth to fable?
Why can't we grasp the truth, why are we not able?
Why is God's word dim in our mind? Why so unclear?
Is it because we do not want to hear?
Our knowledge can be turned to good, When we believe God's word like we should.
It is for sure we will face God one day,
It can be a glorious day if we do it God's way.
