I can only imagine what it will be like when I see Your face, In times of trouble You supplied me with grace. I can only imagine the love You have for me, I will only know when with You I will be. I can only imagine what You suffered for me, But You knew it was the way it had to be. I can only imagine what would happen if You had not come, I would die in my sins, that is the sum. I can only imagine what it would be like without Your word, Am I on my way to heaven? I could not be assured. I can only imagine what life would be like without You, I would not know the One that is true. I can only imagine when You created the universe, Or on earth one day there would be a curse. I can only imagine the discussion of Your coming to die, And then in someone else's tomb You would lie. I can only imagine how the planets were hung, Some say the earth is old; some think it is relatively young. I can only imagine how old You are, Or to heaven, is it far? I can only imagine when there was only the three of You, What was on Your mind, what did You do? Then came the creation and oh, how vast, From Your fingertips the planets were cast. I can only imagine the way Heaven must be, Maybe soon I will get to see, I can only imagine what in Heaven You have for me, But one day I will know, because You died on that tree.
