Christ looked down through the ages and He could see, Without His death in sin I would forever be. He could see the human race was going to hell, It saddened Him to see how low man fell. It grieved Him to see us in such a hopeless state. Christ came to die; He saw our fate. If Adam had listened to what God had said, No need to suffer, no need for His blood to be shed. He already knew He would die, because of what Adam did. This He must do, our sins He must rid. How often have you wished your pain would go away? If Adam had been faithful, your life would not be in pain today. Christ saw sin would enter the human race. God gave Adam power to stand up for his rightful place. But he failed, he gave in; Now we must die, because of his sin. Eve listened to the serpent and believed his lie. Then and there her relationship with God began to die. We now have the light; in it we must walk. It is God we must listen to when He begins to talk. When Satan comes and causes you grief, The things he speaks will never bring relief. Satan's future has an end, it has been sealed. The truth about his fate has now been revealed. But for us there has come a brighter day, Christ came to show us His way was the better way. If to sin you are a slave, Jesus will set you free, His life for you He unselfishly gave.
