Are you angry and ready to throw in the towel?
And at God you are ready to scream foul?
You thought God would always be there.
But if He was, you were unaware.
You don't seem to ever get an answer when you pray.
Even when you pray day after day.
You think He no longer cares and you're ready to quit, Things keep going from bad to worse bit by bit.
Does there seem to be no more hope?
And all you can do is look, search and grope? There is certainly nothing to look forward to, And that with God you think that you are through.
You already know tomorrow will be as bad as today, Because your tomorrows always turn out the same ole way.
And you think you had just as soon be dead.
Since God you can't find, all alone you have to tread.
Do you wish the days ahead would be brighter?
And that somehow your burdens would be lighter?
Are you walking down a path that leads to nowhere?
And you don't seem to know anything any more for sure.
If I cast You aside, I could see why this came to be, You don't seem interested; that's the way it seems to me.
My life is like a withered bloom;
Where once was gladness of heart now there is only gloom.
Keep looking up, Jesus has always been there.
God promises He is with you even if you are unaware.
He sees and understands your every care.
Don't give up; soon eternal life with Jesus you will share.
