I came to You, Lord, when but a teen. Sin in my life You removed and made me clean. One day I called upon Your name, And that day Your servant I became. Lord, I just want to be a faithful servant, In everything I do being fervent. A great servant I may never be, But fulfilling the call You have given me. If You speak, I want to hear, To help others, showing I care. Make me that servant that will obey, Always being prayed up and ready for the day. I know there is plenty yet to do, So a humble servant I want to be for You. Serving You with all my heart, And each new day with You I start. Even the King of Glory came to serve, Or we would be doomed and get what we deserve. Make me the best servant I can be, So You can accomplish what You want in me. I don't worry about what You give others to do, As long as I am a good servant serving You. To do what is right is expected of me, Or a good servant I could not be. Lord, help me to do my best, That I have been faithful and stood the test. So, I will hear "A good servant you have been; And a new life with Me you now begin."
