Ever since that day I came to You,

That was such a wonderful day.

Maybe during that time I did pout and fret, But not one day I served You do I regret.
Ever since my life I gave to You,
Things weren't always smooth, but plenty of good times, too.
Ever since the day I made the decision to serve You, I made up my mind to go all the way, too.
After all these years my mind is still the same:
Live for You and my life in You remain.
I have wondered why things turned out the way they did And why some things from me You kept hid.
But You always worked things out, To bring good things about.
Of the time I have left on earth,
I worship the One that could make me of some worth.
Every since the day I started this new walk, My life changed, including my talk.
You know all the times I failed Thee.
There is no one I can blame but me.
Alone, You said, I would never be.
Looking back this fact I now can see.
I believe this life is almost finished.
My soul and spirit You kept replenished.
I'm glad my life with You I did commence:
The good life You gave, I've enjoyed ... ever since.
