Your life has been a real mess.
And your sins you would not confess.
God wanted to give you a life filled with good.
If only He could.
Without Him is your life fulfilled?
On a cross for you His blood was spilled.
He fulfilled all the scriptures about Him that were written.
That is why He was smitten.
He saw how low in sin we were.
He would have to die; this He knew for sure.
Why did He go through so much pain?
So we could have our relationship with God back again.
Your godly parents can't help you on judgment day.
For your own sins you will have to pay.
Christ has taken care of that for you; die, this He must do.
You must repent; that is what He now requires of you.
If you want to join Him where He dwells,
Then come, drink from His fountains and His deep wells.
There has been no greater love ever shown.
Christ came and to us made salvation known.
His love for you that day was so great.
He fulfilled His mission to save you from your awful fate.
He asks you to come just as you are.
The door to salvation He always leaves ajar.
The sacrifice for our sins is now complete.
Each year He need not repeat.
He died on the cross the scriptures say, For you to have life it was the only way.
