There was a reason Christ came to earth that day.
The world was lost; it must not remain that way.
Sin ruled on the earth in which we live, To free man, His own life He had to give.
Christ spoke God's word. They would not hear.
He healed the sick, raised the dead, but did not fear.
He preached the truth. Some did believe, And those that did, eternal life they did receive.
Who has ever been like this man from Galilee?
He created the earth just for you and me.
And the worlds, for His pleasure, they were created.
One day far above them all, we will be elevated.
Who is like this man that all things He knows? And keeps an eye on the way everything goes.
He knows what a mess this world is in, And all because of sin.
Once America was a bright light for all to see, But has almost forgotten God. Why did we let this be?
We must return to the One that can make it right, And once again, for God, be a light.
Christ created and hung the planets in space:
On judgment day before Him we all must face. Sin came, and we fouled up the earth for Him.
He had to bring light; the earth had grown so dim.
I love this Man that came down from above. For man He had such compassion and love.
He was the great Creator, Who then became our Savior.
